Sworn Russian-to-Spanish translation

Russian documents and documents from other countries
Russian may appear in documents issued in different States. Legalization, the competent authority and the certificate format depend on the country that issues it, not only on the language. We therefore confirm the document’s exact origin first.
Names written in Cyrillic
The same name may have several transliterations into the Latin alphabet. We use the passport or identity document that will be used in Spain as our reference and maintain the same spelling throughout the file. If an earlier translation used a different form, it is advisable to send that too so that consistency can be reviewed.

How will my Russian name be written in the translation?
We use the Latin-alphabet spelling in the passport or the document you will use for the procedure as our reference. If there are variants, they are reviewed before the translation is finalized.
Can you translate handwritten or faint seals?
Yes, provided that they are legible. If any part cannot be read with confidence, we will tell you before accepting the assignment.
Does every document in Russian need an apostille?
This cannot be determined from the language alone. It depends on the issuing country, the type of document and the Spanish body that will receive it.
